This is a very special edition of Sliver Salon, Sliver’s live author talk series. A lesbian icon, and one of the finest minds writing, working, and thinking today, Schulman’s work, writing, and activism, has and continues to leave an indelible imprint on American and global queer culture. Schulman is the author of 21 books, including novels in multiple genres, and groundbreaking non-fiction works including The Gentrification of the Mind: Witness to a Lost Imagination, and Let The Record Show: A Political History of ACT UP New York, 1987-1993.
